 This type of adapter is used for 8 X 6.5" (165mm) bolt pattern 

to fit 8 lug 180mm bolt pattern recent Chevytrucks wheels.

They will allow you to put 8X180 rims off latest Chevy/GMC single wheel pickup (2011 and after).

onto older Chevy, GMC (prior to 2011), Dodge, etc with bolt pattern of 8x6.5"

Adapter studs are 14x1.5 installed to fit factory or after market wheels

**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs.

It happens most often on 1.5" thick adapters.
