LugmanUSA Adapters are built from Super Strong 6061-T6 Extruded Billet Aluminum Bar Stock directly from ALCOA Metals. The process of Extruding Billet makes it extremely strong.  Many imported adapters state they are built from 6061 billet, but can be “CAST” billet and therefor weaker then True Extruded Billet.  Imagine taking the billet shavings from the picture above, melting it down and pouring it into a mold.  That's still a "billet adapter" right??

Our billet stock is first trucked in from Alcoa and then hoisted by a crane or fork lift onto our CNC Lathe.  There it is machined perfectly round and balanced before being cut to your specific thickness needed.  The “blank” is then loaded into one of our state-of-the-art computerized CNC milling centers to be cut to precisely fit your specific vehicle.  The result is a super strong, perfectly balance wheel adapter which will insure the best possible fit and ride for YOU.   We don’t stop there!  Just as the grade and the fabrication process of the billet is crucial, so are the studs!  Many other American made wheel adapter companies will use imported wheel studs (U 176) to save money.  NOT US! Wheel Studs installed in LugmanUSA Wheel Adapters are made from high strength steel right out of Pittsburgh, PA USA and hardened to grade 10.9 .   The Studs are made in America by American workers for STRENGTH AND SAFETY.
